2023-24 PGHL Playoff Format

The 2023-24 PGHL Championship Tournament will be held in Las Vegas and Henderson, NV on the weekend of March 15-17, 2024. Please note that only the top 3 or 4 teams in each division will qualify for the tournament.

Here are the formats for each division:

12u AA (6 teams in league) – Top 4 teams qualify (Fri 12pm – Sun 2pm)

12u AAA (4 teams in league) – Top 3 teams qualify (Fri 2pm – Sun 4pm)

14u AA (5 teams in league) – Top 4 teams qualify (Fri 12pm – Sun 2pm)

14u AAA (4 teams in league) – Top 3 teams qualify (Fri 2pm – Sun 4pm)

16u AA (4 teams in league) – Top 3 teams qualify (Fri 3pm – Sun 6pm)

16uAAA (4 teams in league) – Top 3 teams qualify (Fri 3pm – Sun 6pm)

19u AA (4 teams in league) – Top 3 teams qualify (Fri 5pm – Sun 8pm)

19u AAA (5 teams in league*) – Top 3 eligible teams qualify (Fri 5pm – Sun 8pm)

St. Mary’s HS Varsity not eligible for league playoffs

Tournament Format/Game Length (3 game guarantee)

4 team tournament format – 3 game round robin (6 games total) and championship game

3 team tournament format – 2 game round robin (3 games total), 2v3 playoff and championship game

Games will follow the regular season format. Overtime in playoff games is 5 min 4v4 OT with a 3 player shootout
