New Season Is Underway - Championship Dates Set

We are a few weeks into the 2022-23 season, and every division in the league has played at least one host weekend. This website has the league schedule and standings for games played so far.

Take a look below at the information released for the PGHL Championship:

The 2022-23 PGHL Championship Tournament will be held in Las Vegas and Henderson, NV on President’s Day Weekend, February 17-20, 2023. Please note that only the top 3 or 4 teams in each division will qualify for the tournament.

Here are the formats for each division:

12u AA (6 teams in league) – Top 4 teams qualify (Fri 4pm – Mon 11am)

12u AAA (4 teams in league) – Top 3 teams qualify (Sat 7am – Mon 2pm)

14u AA (7 teams in league) – Top 4 teams qualify (Fri 4pm – Mon 1pm)

14u AAA (4 teams in league) – Top 3 teams qualify (Sat 7am – Mon 2pm)

16u/19u A (4 teams in league) – Top 3 teams qualify (Sat 12pm – Mon 4pm)

16u/19u AA (5 teams in league) – Top 4 teams qualify (Fri 4pm – Sun 9pm)

16u/19u AAA (5 teams in league*) – Top 4 teams qualify (Fri 4pm – Sun 8pm)

(St. Mary’s HS Varsity not eligible for league playoffs)

Tournament Format/Game Length (3 game guarantee)

4 team tournament format – 3 game round robin (6 games total) and championship game

3 team tournament format – 2 game round robin (3 games total), 2v3 playoff and championship game

Games will be 13 min stopped time periods. 5 min OT/3 player SO only in playoff games.
